Selena Gomez was recently snapped enjoying dinner with a mystery man following her split from teen pop sensation Justin Bieber, and now pictures have now emerged of the Disney star dining alongside Dancing With The Stars star Julianne Hough in a bid to get over her ex!
Selena was spotted at BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood on Jan. 11, just days after her breakup with the 'Baby' superstar. But according to a Hollywoodlife source, Selena did not look upset... In fact, she was having a great time with someone new.
A source from the restaurant told the website, “Selena was here for about an hour. She was eating with Julianne Hough from Dancing With The Stars and a whole bunch of publicists. They ate quickly. Selena seemed really nice and normal, and didn’t look sad. She and Julianne seemed really friendly."
An insider claimed that it was Bieber's behaviour that caused the split and that not only was he jealous and needy his “babyish” attitude meant he needed constant attention.
“Justin is super needy and can be a big baby around Selena,” the reported insider told RadarOnline.com.
“It’s hard for him to make real friends because he likes the temporary attention of strangers, but didn’t realize how it hurt Selena.”
The couple reportedly broke up in Mexico over a New Year's holiday. 'Jelena' had planned to spend the holiday together but after a blow out fight both flew home separately. It wasn't just his “needy” attitude that tore the couple apart, according to the close friend the 'Boyfriend' singer had a wandering eye as well.
They explained: “Selena didn’t feel Justin was respectful of their relationship. She was constantly catching him in positions with other girls that would make her uncomfortable. She would get super jealous.”
No comment about the reported break up has been made officially, but hints on both their social networking profiles appear to imply this might be it for the power couple.
It's not the first time there have been rumours of a split, but the insider reckons this time it's for good. SOB!
