Harry Styles' Mum Begs Him To Stop Getting Tattoos: He's Going To Regret Them

18-year-old, Harry Styles, has got himself quite the extensive tattoo collection and was all set to get another bit of ink on the 1D tour of Japan. But apparently Anne Cox, Harry's mum, begged him not to do it.

According to a source for the Daily Star, "Harry's mum is worried his tattoo collection is getting out of hand."

The curly-haired hunk is very close to his mother and took her request seriously having already planned out what he was going to get.

The singer was hoping to have a Kanji tattoo; his name in Japanese calligraphy. He had even consulted with a leading tattoo artist in Japan who had already sketched out the design.

Anne is starting to fear that, "he's getting addicted to sitting in the artist's chair."

"She's concerned about the lasting effects of the scribbles all over his body and thinks he could live to regret some of them."

“Harry has had over 30 tattoos in the last year. His mum is also concerned the ink could be the reason he gets such bad skin."

“She’s told him he’ll get even more spotty if he continues, not just on his face.”

And apparently mummy's not the only one who's asking him to take it easy. Band mentor, Simon Cowell, has also got in touch with the ladies man.

"Simon gave him some gentle advice suggesting he gives it a break for a while and reassess."

Louis Tomlinson also once joked that one "looks like he's written in in Biro".

When it comes to Japanese writing, we think Anne Cox may have had the right idea.

Britney Spears got Kanji symbols inked on herself to read 'mysterious', unfortunately the direct translation of her tat actually means 'strange'.

Apparently mamma Styles may have her work cut out to stop her son, the source told the mag, “it wouldn’t surprise me if he gets it done sneakily.”
