While Demi Lovato will always remain a fan favorite among her many followers, the Daily Mail reported this Friday, Dec.7, that fellow “X Factor” judge Simon Cowell not only recently dissed Demi, calling the talented singer “bitchy and mean,” but still hasn’t confirmed reports that the “Skyscraper” star will reappear for the new season of the “X Factor” next year.
Simon Cowell has used his position as “X Factor” head judge to keep quiet on any reports that Demi Lovato will or will not reprise her role as judge on the popular TV show for the next season. Unfortunately, Daily Mail notes, despite Demi reportedly bringing in viewers and doing a “good job” on as a judge, the singer’s prospects do not look too good after Cowell recently dissed the star, calling her “unpleasant and bitchy.”
Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato’s weekly arguing on the “X Factor” show is often seen as light-hearted by many fans, yet this Thursday night Cowell’s comments made a darker turn, pointing to the idea that her future attitude may play a key role in Demi returning as a judge on the next season of the “X Factor.”
According to People's interview with the former "American Idol" judge after this Thursday’s episode,
“It’s that time of the year when I always get asked that question [as to who will be the next/new judge for the ‘X Factor’], and I’m not going to answer it,” said Simon Cowell firmly.
Cowell still has two acts left in the singing contest this year, and though he has called the talented Demi Lovato “fun,” revealed she had gotten “mean-spirited” after she continued to speak out against his own acts, Fifth Harmony and Emblem3.
Demi’s final act, CeCe Frey, despite taking to Twitter to ask her fans to support the aspiring singer, was voted off the competition last night.
Fellow fans, would you like to see Demi Lovato return for a new season as an “X Factor” judge?
