The boys of One Direction haven't slowed down since coming in third place on the U.K. version of the "X Factor" in 2010. They released their debut studio album Up All Night in the U.S. back in March, which landed at the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, making them the first British group in U.S. chart history to enter at #1 with their first album.
Since then, they have embarked on their first-ever U.K. headlining tour, released their chart smash, "Live While We're Young," announced their world tour and on Tuesday (November 13). released their highlight anticipated sophomore album, Take Me Home. To say the past eight months for the boys have been a wild ride, would be an understatement.
Yet, in those past months, the fivesome have been spending a lot of quality time together, and in just two short years have become fast friends learning all about each other's likes and dislikes, so when MTV News caught up with the boys, we asked them to spill the dirt on one another.
These guys have performed in front of thousands and thousands of Directioners and have sung their hit songs countless times, so one would think with all that practice that they would know their lyrics like the back of their hands. Think again, because according to Niall Horan, Liam Payne often times forgets his own lyrics... and he's aware of it.
"Like three times in one show," Payne admits about forgetting his lyrics. "If I don't have my head prepared for what's happening... I thought we were doing like three songs for a show, but we were doing the whole show, so I had forgotten everything. I was like 'I have no idea."
Yet, we didn't just talk about music. We, of course, wanted to tap into the more personal, sensitive side of the guys of 1D, and what they revealed might surprise even the most die-hard Directioners. We found out that Payne falls in love the easiest, and that Harry Styles might just be the most likely to cry during a movie.
"I get close a lot," Styles revealed. "You know when you get the shivers?"
Yet, Styles isn't the only one.
" 'Ted' made me nearly cry," Horan admitted. "It's kind of like 'Marley and Me.' "
Louis Tomlinson added, "Do any of you watch 'One Tree Hill?' When Uncle Keith died, that was a tearful moment!"
