Joe Jonas was seen chatting up ex-girlfriend, superstar Taylor Swift, at the 2012 MTV EMA's last night (Nov. 11th). Joined by his brothers Nick and Kevin, Joe looked very pleased to be talking to the 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' songstress.
Jonas and Swift have apparently been friendly for quite some time now. The exes "hugged and kissed" at iHeartRadio in September according to US Weekly, and Joe was in attendance for one of Taylor's shows in 2011.
Swift is rumored to have penned a song for Jonas on her record-smashing hit album RED. Fans have speculated that 'Holy Ground', an upbeat song from the record about finally moving on from an old breakup, is about Joe Jonas.
It certainly wouldn't be the first time Taylor wrote a song about Joe Jonas. In 2008, she rush-recorded the track 'Forever & Always' about their failing relationship for her Fearless record, and several songs off of Swift's third album are rumored to be about Jonas as well.
Joe and Taylor infamously split in 2008 over the phone. "When I find that person that is right for me, he'll be wonderful. And when I look at that person, I won't even be able to remember the boy that broke up with me over the phone in 27-seconds when I was eighteen," Swift dished to Ellen Degeneres after the break-up.
After four years of being apart, do these two stand a chance at ever getting back together? Or are they better off as just friends?
