One Direction singer Harry Styles took to Twitter to share an interesting story – that his credit card got declined when he was trying to buy his band’s sophomore album Take Me Home.

Styles had a good laugh about the ironic incident, tweeting "Soooo... I went to download our album this morning. And my card got declined. Hahaha!!"

Take Me Home officially became available on Monday, Nov. 12, and the band, formed on The X Factor, was in New York this week to promote it.

They caused mayhem in New York City as they performed on the Today Show on Tuesday, Capitol FM reports. They drew 15,000 fans at Rockefeller Plaza.

Styles also asked his fans what they thought of the album, writing “We're so excited the album is finally out and you guys can hear it! who's had a listen and what do you think? .xx”

He was also sure to thank those at the Today Show for welcoming them this week.” Thank you so much to @todayshow for having us! You guys were incredible!!” he wrote, attaching a picture of 10 Rock Plaza.
