Justin Bieber To Donate Ticket Proceeds To Hurricane Sandy Relief Effort

Justin Bieber is donating a portion of the profits from his upcoming New York and New Jersey shows to relief efforts set up in the wake of Sandy.

The Baby hit-maker is scheduled to play four shows in the states - including two at the Big Apple's famed Madison Square Garden - before the end of the month, and will hand over $1 from every ticket sale to the victims of the post-tropical storm.

In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "We decided that for the Jersey, Brooklyn, and 2 MSG (Madison Square Garden) shows every ticket sold a dollar will be donated to Hurricane Sandy Relief.

"All 4 shows are sold out so U are all helping us make a difference in the lives of those that need it right now. Thanks. Give back."

The storm brought chaos to the East Coast when it hit on October 29th, with New York, New Jersey and North Carolina the worst affected, leaving millions without power, while hundreds lost their homes.
