Emma Watson spots young Harry Potter trick-or-treater, introduces herself as Hermione

A seemingly recent photo of Emma Watson with a young trick-or-treater dressed as Harry Potter is too adorable not to share. Especially if her dialogue with the boy is true.

A photo surfaced on a blog of Watson with a boy in his Gryffindor robes, a wand, and candy bag. Reportedly Watson spotted the boy and said, “Excuse me, are you Harry Potter? That’s great, because I’m Hermione Granger and we’re best of friends.”

How adorable! It almost looks like Watson was more excited to see Harry Potter than vice versa. We can’t confirm the dialogue or even if the photo is recent, but it’s the first time we’re seeing it and cute-ness wins over fresh-ness regardless.

In other recent Emma Watson news, we learned nearly a month ago that the actress is set for a return to Brown University following an 18-month absence. She had temporarily departed in order to wrap promotion on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 and filmed Sofia Coppola’s The Bling Ring and a role in Darren Aronofsky’s Noah. She had continued her studies by attending Worcester College at Oxford University.

Watson’s big film release this year was The Perks of Being a Wallflower, a book-to-film adaptation of Stephen Chbosky’s coming-of-age story. Chbosky himself directed the film which ended up receiving rave reviews from critics and fans alike.
