One Direction star Zayn Malik made fans gasp when he stepped out at The Olympics Opening Ceremony in July with a radical new hairstyle.
The sexy singer has now revealed that 19-year-old Little Mix star Perrie Edwards' mum Debbie was the stylist behind the edgy 'do.
'I was sat at home and just decided I wanted a bit of a blond streak,' he says.
'My girlfriend's mum did it for me. She's a hairdresser, so it was cool.'
But looking back, the Bradford lad, 19, reckons he should have told his management he was planning a makeover.
'I probably should have passed it with someone, but I didn't,' he admits on Irish 1D TV special The Story So Far.
