Amazing, right? Sadly the guys were all the way across the pond, back home recording in London.
But they did not disappoint their biggest fans that voted for them!
Louis Tomlinson thanked the crowd in a pre-taped video. Don't worry--Harry, Niall, Liam and Zayn were there too!
See, because the surfboards were rather large to ship all the way to London, they had to be broken apart. And Louis showed us all how the guys all worked together to put them back together once they arrived!
It was adorable--and almost as good as if they guys had been there in person. Almost.
The guys DID promise on Twitter today that they would be there!
