Taylor Swift can add another award to her long, long list, but she can't take all the credit for this one. It's actually for her cat, Meredith. The fuzzy little charmer tops E! Online's list of the "100 Best Things in Pop Culture." Things like Skrillez, Instagram, desserts on Pinterest, Real Housewives and Lindsay Lohan's lips also made the varied list. E! likes Meredith because she's adorable, obviously, citing her giant, marble-like eyes of Pikachu and tiny, triangular ears of a grizzly cub as their benchmark for cat cuteness. But they also seem to like the power she has over Swift. "Meredith has taken hold of Taylor's Instagram and Twitter feeds, too, posing in coquettish, occasionally sensual positions that have entranced her into documenting and sharing the cat's every move," they say. "In fact, it's hard not to assume that Meredith was the one who convinced Taylor to straighten her iconic curls -- perhaps because their resemblance to menacing balls of yarn drove the kitty mad?" I'm sure Meredith is thrilled that she's bringing home the grand virtual prize, but she was probably just honored to be nominated.
