Demi Lovato has taken a stand ... against bath salts! The new "X Factor" judge reportedly shamed two music industry hopefuls for choosing to rap about the the cannibalism-causing, poo-cravings-inducing drug that has recently made headlines.
A rap duo performed for the 19-year-old pop star and the rest of the judges' panel during the reality talent competition's auditions in Greensboro, N.C. TMZ reports that part of the audition included the lyric, "I'm high on bath salts," which did not sit well with Ms. Lovato.
"It's really inappropriate to rap about drugs in front of kids," Dem said, scolding the duo as soon as they finished. Reportedly, the audience agreed with Demi and booed the contestants off the stage before Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and Britney Spears could have their say! Looks like someone's laying down the law!
Demi, who did a stint in rehab from November 2010 to January 2011 for eating disorders, cutting and depression, recently revealed her own past drug use. Back in January, the child star confessed she once took drugs as way to "numb [her] pain."
