AFTER ALL THOSE EMMA OSTILLY RUMOURS, THAT'S A C+ AND A 'MUST TRY HARDER' FOR YOU MR BODYGUARD
With girls mobbing One Direction every time they set a trainer clad foot outside their hotel rooms, it's probably not surprising that they need bodyguards to look after them when they're on tour. But actually, according to reports, their security staff aren't just there to keep rampaging girls away for them, but to keep them away from the girls too.
One Direction are known for being good to their fans, but as they are so in demand, label bosses apparently want to keep the lads on the straight and narrow by keeping a bit of distance between them and the pretty ladies.
"The US music execs are keen to protect the band's clean-cut image and they have bodyguards tail the boys to steer them away from women," an insider told Heat.
After all those Emma Ostilly and Sarah-Louise Colivet rumours, we can't help thinking that the lads must be pretty good at out-foxing their security staff, even if these rumours are true. Must try harder, Mr Bodyguard.
But apparently the girls aren't the only thing these mysterious "music execs" having been keeping a beady eye on either.
"Some of the boys were underage when the band started and were strictly banned from boozing."
"The same goes for eating junk food," the source added.
No wonder Niall set his teeth into the Vegemite with so much gusto. It's not quite the same as a bag full of choccy digestive though, so we'll be sending the lads a care package sharpish.
