Both Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato have been rumored to be joining The X Factor, but is there any truth to the rumors?
There's already been plenty of buzz that Britney Spears is thisclose to signing a deal to judge X Factor, though nothing has been confirmed yet.
Now Miley and Demi's names are being floated around, as a report from Celebuzz says that Simon Cowell wants to hire a young pop star to fill the remaining vacant judge seat.
Miley and Demi are reportedly being considered for the gig, with an insider telling E! Online that while there is interest in Miley, there have been no offers made.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Demi is also under consideration.
But wait...there's one more name in the mix too--Avril Lavigne.
It sure sounds like Simon is trying to pick another judge that will nab a younger audience--Miley, Demi and Avril would all be good contenders.
There hasn't been any confirmation that Britney is a lock, but E! News reported in April that her team had agreed to a one-year deal that would pay out $15 million.
The judge search has been on since Cowell fired Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger in January. Plus, X Factor is looking for a new host since Steve Jones was fired as well.
