Justin Bieber has collected an award at the Tribeca Film Festival with a ring on his marriage finger.
The Believe singer has previously faced speculation about him becoming engaged to Selena Gomez, in particular when he gave her a ring. He said this week that he was "too young" for marriage, adding: "It doesn't mean that Selena is not the right person, though."
While on stage at the festival to accept an award for 'Disruptive Innovation', Bieber's manager Scooter Braun said: "I just realised that he's wearing a ring on his ring finger. So after we leave here he's not engaged, he's not married, but I'm going to have to deal with that later."
With the audience laughing, the young star replied: "Didn't even realise that, sorry guys.
"That's not what I was going for, a long time coming, guys. Why didn't anyone tell me?"
Bieber then moved the ring to his other hand.
The 18-year-old this week revealed the cover art for his new album Believe.
