Justin Bieber Claims Mariah Yeater Track Is Like MJ's 'Billie Jean'

Justin Bieber has just debuted his mature video for 'Boyfriend', and now the singer has compared his Believe song that he wrote about Mariah Yeater and those infamous baby claims is like Michael Jackson's hit track 'Billie Jean'.

The 18-year-old was left stunned (as were his army of Beliebers) when Mariah Yeater filed a lawsuit against the 'Boyfriend' singer demanding cash to support her baby after an alleged sexual encounter with Bieber.

Talking to MTV about his new track, the teen said: “The baby situation — which was totally not true, by the way — I wrote a song about that. It’s on there. It’s like my ‘Billie Jean.’ At the end of the day, I’m human. I go through all the problems you go through.”

The teen also revealed what made him pick the Selena Gomez look-a-like for his latest video, claiming that the actress looked like a Disney princess.

"They had two girls based on the pictures and we picked the one who looked best on camera," he recalled. "It was kind of a group thing. She was like really beautiful but on camera it gave this cool vibe. She looked like Pocahantas."

But overall Justin is very happy with the promo, as he said: something that was a little more mature. My fans are all growing with me. It was something more mature and that all my fans would like."

When asked why he picked 'Boyfriend' as his first single, the teen insisted that it was the track he felt most in tune with.

"I just thought it was like, out of all the songs I had at that time, it was the song that most represented me at the time," he said. "It was perfect first song to come out with. My single is better. And my next single is better. I think it’s “As Long As You Love Me.”

It’s like mid-tempo. I just think it’s edgy. It’s something I can hear on the radio. It’s going to get stuck in people’s heads."
