BUT WHO WOULD BE HER DANNY ZUKO?
First of all, we’d just like to say that we really, really, REALLY hope the rumours of a Grease remake are true.
Now that’s out the way, let’s talk about who should play who! Oliva Newton John herself – who played Sandy in the 1978 version of the hit film – has revealed that she thinks Taylor Swift would be the perfect choice for the lead-role.
She told Showbiz Tonight: "I'm sure they'll try a remake, and I think it would probably do well because people would be curious.”
She added: “Lately, I've thought Taylor Swift could probably play Sandy, because she's very talented. And my daughter, I've always thought she could."
Well, we think Olivia might be slightly biased there on the daughter front – but y’know, they should definitely let her audition.
Perhaps John Travolta’s son Benjamin could play Danny – although being only 2 years old that could be slightly difficult.
We think Taylor is an inspired choice for Sandy – we can just see her in a pastel coloured dress belting out Summer Lovin’ or Hopelessly Devoted To You.
