Justin Bieber has denied that he insulted his Indonesian fans at a recent press event.
It was reported last week that Bieber appeared flippant during a chat with the media when he allegedly scoffed at comparisons to Justin Timberlake and complained about the sound system.
Bieber also apparently joked that he recorded one track from his new album in "some random country", before being reminded that it was Indonesia.
The 'Boyfriend' singer reacted to criticism of his comments by insisting that would never insult his loyal fanbase.
"One rumour I wont stand for is saying what me and my fans have isnt real. Indonesia I see you. i love u. I love ALL MY FANS. #fact (sic)," Bieber tweeted.
He added: "You cant break us. all the lies and rumours in the world cant phase us. this is #FAMILY . #Beliebers #ILOVEMYFANS."
Bieber recently opened up about his romance with Selena Gomez, claiming that he is too young to be considering marriage.
His new album Believe is released on June 19 in the US and June 26 in the UK.
