Demi Lovato was forced to stop her concert in Paraguay last night after a run-in with fans that were over-enthusiastic to say the least.
As the 19-year-old singer was interacting with the crowd, a female fan seized her moment and launched herself onto the stage.
She ran over to Demi mid-performance and threw her arms around her idol.
While the act appeared to be out of innocent admiration, it sparked other members of the crowd to invade the stage and things turned violent when security guards stepped in to protect Demi.
The young star quickly ducked off and made her way off the stage unharmed.
But ever the professional, the Skyscraper singer decided the show must go on and she returned to the stage after just one minute and opted to continue her performance.
However not before she had made light of the matter and told the hyper crowd to ‘chill out’.
