While many are still asking what exactly the point is of a Dirty Dancing remake, recoil in horror at the thought of Justin Bieber taking on the role original played by Patrick Swayze.
Yes there have been a mass of rumours since the announcement was made that the 80s iconic slushfest was being remade for a new generation as to who will be taking over the role made famous by Swayze and Jennifer Grey, with the likes of Miley Cyrus, Glee’s Lea Michele and Derek Hough being banded around as potential leads.
The latest being added to that list are the less than muscular Bieber and his is she isn’t she girlfriend Selena Gomez, who are both instant box office gold at the moment.
Hopefully by the time the film is released in 2013, this story will not nothing more than a very distant nightmare.
