After years of memories, the end is finally here for Selena Gomez on "Wizards of Waverly Place." The 18-year old actress / singer has been talking about the end of the show most of the week, but on Saturday morning she posted this picture along with a caption:
"Jake, myself and David. Our last walk to set... I love you [Jake T. Austin] and [David Henrie]. We wrap today"
Meanwhile, Henrie also expressed his sadness at the idea of the show ending after five season:
"Sad sad day here on set. The final production day of wizards of waverly place begins."
"Wizards" has been a major success for the Disney Channel both critically (having won multiple awards) and also commercially -- it has also made Gomez one of the most popular young actresses in all Hollywood. Once the show is over, what will be interesting is seeing what sort of trajectory her career takes -- similar to fellow recent TV castoff Miley Cyrus.
