Whenever "Glee" tends to go on hiatus, there always seems to be one activity that people use to buy time until the show comes back on -- speculating about who could be hanging out at McKinley High at some point in the coming season.
Although there are really too many names to ever list here, just some of the people rumored to be on the Fox musical comedy in the past (either through actual facts or just fan campaigns) include Seelna Gomez, Vaness Hudges, Jennifer Lopez, Susan Boyle, Adam Lambert, David Archuleta, Javier Bardem, Justin Timberlake, and even Justin Bieber (who did manage to at least play a major role in a plot even without showing up).
So could Taylor Swift actually end up joining them on the list? The situation for the country star is really a rather interesting one. She is young enough that she could pass off as a student or a friend of one of the characters, and she has some acting chops to go along with the stellar singing voice (having appeared on "CSI" and in the movie "Valentine's Day"). Taylor also knows a few of the cast members, having been rumored to be dating both Cory Monteith and Chord Overstreet at some point in the past.
Fans on Saturday have decided to create so much of a passion for getting Swift on the show that "TaylorOnGlee" has become a Trending Topic. Will she listen? She has expressed an interest in appearing in the past -- it's just all going to come down to availability alongside finding a good place for her in the story.
