Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber had only been dating for a few months before he jetted off on his My World, world tour.
That kind of distance can put pressure on any relationship, especially a fledgling one and we wonder if Selena is seeking comfort in the form of her boyfriend, Nick Jonas.
According to MTV News, the Wizards of Waverly Place star was spotted hanging out with Nick and recently gushed to BOP magazine that Nick is “a lovely guy.”
She said: "I try to be a good person and a good friend to people. That’s something that’s very important to me. Nick is a very good friend. He’s a lovely guy, we’re good friends and I enjoy his company!”
We're pretty sure we've heard that from Selena before. In fact, didn’t she insist Justin was just a 'good friend' and a 'lovely guy'.
Hmm, should the absent Bieber be worried?
