MILEY CYRUS PERFORMS WITH JOAN JETT ON OPRAH

Miley Cyrus had the chance of a lifetime performing with one of her heroes on the Oprah Winfrey Show on Wednesday.

Miley joined Jett onstage for a medley of hits like “Bad Reputation,” “I Hate Myself for Loving You” and The Runaways’ “Cherry Bomb,” while Avril Lavigne duetted with Pat Benatar on empowerment anthem “Love is a Battlefield.”

Sheryl Crow also joined her heroine Stevie Nicks to perform classic tune “Landslide” as part of the salute to the ladies of rock.

Miley told Oprah the chance to perform with her idol was a dream come true: "I auditioned for my show (Hannah Montana) with (Jett song) “I Love Rock n’ Roll” and the first album I ever made I had I Love Rock n’ Roll, so it’s always meant something to me, seeing Joan stand up for chicks who wanna play the guitar."

The girl power TV special also featured studio performances by Salt ’N Pepa and Sister Sledge.

What would you do if you got to perform with your idol?
