Justin Bieber has always said he's single, and he's definitely acting like it.
While performing in South Africa, Justin Bieber got the attention and telephone number of local teen Qaanita Jacobs, 17, after spending 15 minutes with her.
Jacobs and her friends were drinking virgin daquairis when a sly Justin Bieber walked by and took an empty seat among young ladies. After Justin put his arm around her for a picture, she was handed a piece of paper to write down her telephone number.
"He handed me the piece of paper and I wrote down my name and number," she told the Sunday Times. "He said 'Qaanita?' I said yes. Hearing him say my name with his accent, oh my word!"
When fans heard about Bieber’s South African arrival, many teens began infiltrating the One&Only Hotel, hoping to get a glimpse of the Biebs. Unfortunately for Jacobs, her time with JB was cut short because of her curfew. Too bad, it seemed that Bieber was looking forward to getting to know the local girls.
The following morning, Bieber tweeted, “[South Africans} are cool and kind and the girls...um yeah. :) thank u for the adventure."
@qaanita_jacobs then tweeted in reply: "hoping that maybe, just maybe @justinbieber remember's me:)"
