Speaking of getaways, it looks like Selena Gomez will be going head-to-head with 1D fans this box office weekend. In her new film Getaway, Selena plays "The Kid," an anonymous, computer-savvy girl aiding Brent Magna (Ethan Hawke) as he follows the orders of a mysterious man (Jon Voight) in order save his kidnapped wife.

1. One Direction: This Is Us
Bet you haven't heard of this one. This is Us tells the story of One Direction and their rise to super-size fame (the documentary's director Morgan Spurlock is famous for Super Size Me)--from their humble beginnings to competing on the X Factor and then worldwide fan-domination. Demi Lovato's "Heart By Heart" From 'Mortal Instruments' Soundtrack (LISTEN!)

Demi Lovato teased us with a preview of her new rock ballad "Heart By Heart" on The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones soundtrack awhile back and now the song has been released in full!

The soundtrack isn't due out until August 20 but lucky for us, we got to hear this tune early!

In typical Demi fashion, the song is really good and has awesome lyrics. It starts off slow but then builds up and gives off a rock sound as the song goes on. The piano sounds magnificent in the ballad too and so does Demi's voice!

Full Version of Demi Lovato's 'Mortal Instruments' Song 'Heart by Heart' Is Here!

After a month of agonizing waiting since the preview was released, here finally is the full version of Demi Lovato's "Heart by Heart". The love song masterpiece is featured on the official movie soundtrack for "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones". The album will arrive in stores on August 20th, with the film opening the following day in US theaters,.

Demi's new song "Heart by Heart" is a beautiful rock ballad whose lyrics speak of finding love and holding on to it. This is so good! Lyrics, production and VOCALS slay. Demi's last chorus, in particular, gives so much LIFE to my undeserving soul, lol. By the way, "Heart by Heart" needs to get the 'official single' treatment. It's got to get released! And Demi has to shoot a music video for it. I bet that'd be another chillingly beautiful effort.

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones is the latest novel to be adapted into a movie. The action adventure flick, based on the book by Cassandra Clare, follows the story of Clary Fray, played by Lily Collins. When her mom is attacked and taken from their home in New York City by a demon, seemingly ordinary teenager Clary embarks on a quest to get her back.

Here are five things that set The Mortal Instruments apart from other recent novels-turned-movies!

5) In the film, Clary learns that she is the descendant in a long line of half angel, half human demon-hunting warriors called "shadow hunters."

4) As a "shadow hunter," Clary is one of the "chosen." Other members of the "chosen" are Isabelle Lightwood (Jemima West) and some very cute guys, Wayland (Jamie Campbell Bower), Alec Lightwood (Kevin Zegers) and Simon Lewis (Robert Sheehan).

3) This isn't Lily's first action movie. She co-starred in with Taylor Lautner in Abduction.
