The Vamps, Demi Lovato unveil 'Somebody To You' video - watch

The Vamps and Demi Lovato have unveiled the music video for their new single 'Somebody To You'.

The music video for the track - which features on the boyband's debut album Meet The Vamps - was filmed on location in Malibu, California.



The Vamps recruited the help of the US singer for a new version of the song, with Lovato adding vocals to the second verse, as well as being heard on the chorus.

'Somebody To You' is the fourth single to be taken from the boyband's debut album, following previous Top 3 hits 'Can We Dance', 'Wild Heart' and 'Last Night'.

Meet The Vamps was released back in April, and peaked at number two on the UK Albums Chart.

Meanwhile, Lovato will tour the UK with Enrique Iglesias later this year, with four arena shows scheduled for November.

The Vamps talk Demi Lovato collaboration: "We weren't expecting it"

The Vamps have admitted that it feels "weird" having Demi Lovato on their new single.

The band have teamed up with the US star for a new version of their track 'Somebody To You', which has been lifted from their debut album Meet The Vamps.

"We were working in LA with the same producers and she was literally just next door in the studio the same time as us," Connor Ball told Digital Spy at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Glasgow.

"We were brainstorming for a feature and Demi came up, and then she tracked it the next day."

Tristan Evans added: "It's weird. We weren't expecting it. It's Demi Lovato! I bought her album when it came out and now she's on our track."

The Vamps played the Main Stage at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Glasgow yesterday (May 25), alongside further sets from Paolo Nutini, Katy Perry and Kings of Leon.

The Vamps have released a new version of ‘Somebody To You’ featuring Demi Lovato!

The original version of ‘Somebody To You’ was released on The Vamps’ debut LP, ‘Meet the Vamps,’ but the new version with Demi Lovato is being pushed to radio as a potential summer hit. You can listen to the entire song by playing the video above.

The British pop band stopped by PopCrush in March to talk about what it’s been like touring together and what made them unique as a band. “We write our own stuff and play our instruments and hopefully that separates us from other people, like boy bands for example,” said lead guitarist James McVey.

The band will be going on their first headlining tour in September where they will be playing various venues around the U.K.
