Selena Gomez shows off legs for days in a revealing dress while attending a special screening of her movie Rudderless during the 2014 Ischia Global Film & Music Festival on Friday evening (July 18) in Ischia, Italy.

The 21-year-old entertainer stepped out earlier in the day looking super chic while taking in the sights around town and meeting her fans.

Selena Gomez Gets New Tattoo Ahead of 'Rudderless' Ischia Premiere

Selena Gomez steps off her boat taxi as she arrives in Ischia for the 2014 Ischia Global Film and Music Festival in Italy on Wednesday afternoon (July 16).

The 21-year-old actress is set to receive the Kids’ Global Award at the festival as well as premiere her new film, Rudderless.

Just before arriving at the festival, Selena got herself a new tattoo while in NYC.

“It’s meaning translates to Love Yourself,” celeb tattoo artist Bang Bang shared with EOnline. “Selena already had it written out how she wanted.”

He added, “The tattoo is about 4 inches, and didn’t take too long, probably about 30-45 minutes. The longest part is laying it out. We played with it a bit laying it out, until we found the perfect spot.”

New Music: Selena Gomez - 'Hold On'

New Selena Gomez music already? Now fans of the pop star hold on for a minute, because this song, also called ‘Hold On’ (how appropriate) is not the lead single of any upcoming new studio album by Selena Gomez, it's a song from the soundtrack of upcoming musical drama film ‘Rudderless’, directed by William H. Macy and due to hit theatres in the US on later in the 2014.

Actually, Selena Gomez makes more than just a song contribution to the film. She also STARS in it! She will play the main character of 'Kate'. Here's a synopsis of 'Rudderless': "A grieving father in a downward spiral stumbles across a box of his recently deceased son's demo tapes and lyrics. Shocked by the discovery of this unknown talent, he forms a band in the hope of finding some catharsis.”

‘Hold On’, from the 'Rudderless' soundtrack, is a guitar-driven acoustic ballad with Selena giving the most ‘timid’ introduction in the opening seconds of the song, to later engage in the beautiful, and up-lifting lyrics of ‘Hold On’ with Ben Kweller, an American singer who also plays a role in the movie. “Rely on your friends They’ll get you through They’re there for you, oh yeah”, reminds us Selenita.

Selena Gomez Goes "Dark" for New Murder Movie: "It's a Side You've Never Seen of Her"

Selena Gomez fans, get ready to see the starlet like you're never seen her before.

The 20-year-old actress, who debuted a sexy new side in her recent film Spring Breakers, is going to an even darker place for her upcoming drama Rudderless.

"It's the parents' perspective of being the parents of a murderer, a mass murder like Sandy Hook," Gomez's Rudderless costar Jamie Chung told us of the film at the premiere of The Hangover Part III, which Chung also stars in.

"You never get to hear the parents' perspective of dealing with the hurt and the betrayal and the anger and the love," Chung continued. "It's a really interesting angle on a story like that. It's pretty dark but it's kind of beautiful in a way."

Chung says Gomez's performance is a departure from her Disney days. "The thing is, she's so talented, you're really going to see a different side," she said. "It's going to be a bit more fragile. I think it's a side you've never seen of her. It's quite fantastic."

"It's dark," Chung added, "But she's always so lovely."

Rudderless also stars Felicity Huffman, Laurence Fishburne and Star Trek's Anton Yelchin. The film is dreicted by William H. Macy.
