TOP PICK: James Franco Posts, Then Deletes, Nearly Naked Pic

Apparently even James Franco has limits on his social media selfie sharing. The Spring Breakers actor posted this nearly naked photo of himself with his hand inside his underwear late Thursday night.

In the photo which he bizarrely captioned "JUMP ROPE," the 36-year-old actor looks sweaty and disheveled as he gropes his nether regions. Less than an hour after sharing the unsettling, unsexy pic, James deleted it.

And here we thought picking up underage girls on Instagram was the most scandalous he could get on the app, but thank you James, for taking creepy to a whole new level. We're just waiting for him to say this was a promotion for Palo Alto, his new movie, or an experiment for a thesis he's writing on selfies gone wrong. But in the meantime, we're off to take a shower. Yuck!

Taylor Swift and James Franco Make Surprise Cameo on Seth Rogen-Hosted 'SNL'

Seth Rogen enlisted the help of his celebrity friends when hosting "Saturday Night Live" on April 12. He was joined by singer Taylor Swift, frequent co-star James Franco, and actress Zooey Deschanel during the show's monologue.

Franco showed up after Rogen poked fun at the "Spider-Man" actor's attempted hookup with a 17-year-old via social media. "I decided to prank James Franco. I posed as a girl on Instagram, told him I was way young," the "Neighbors" star joked. "He seemed unfazed. I have a date to meet him at the Ace Hotel." Franco claimed he'd been waiting for Rogan at the Ace Hotel for "three days."

Rogen, who insisted that he didn't need the help of his famous friends to boost the show's ratings, pretended to ignore Deschanel. Not giving up just yet, the "New Girl" beauty showed up again to play a ukulele.

Swift later joined him onstage. "Oh God, Taylor Swift, come on," Rogen said. "Why are you here?" The country music songstress, who was there to support good friend and musical guest Ed Sheeran, replied, "You were getting really upset. And whenever a man shows emotion, I appear!"

Franco also appeared in "Monster Pals" sketch, where he played a monster who got a human facial surgery after teased by Rogen for being ugly. Roger's other skits were less memorable. He played a Mob boss, Officer Kellogg from the DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program, and a pot dealer in some drug-related sketches.

The star-studded cameos failed to boost the show's ratings. The Rogen-hosted episode averaged a 3.9 household rating in the metered markets and a 2.1 in adults 18-49 in the markets with Local People Meters, down a tenth from last week's episode hosted by Anna Kendrick.

Shaken Selena Gomez Reveals 'James Franco Held Her Hand During Terrifying Spring Breaker Scenes'

Shaken Selena Gomez Reveals 'James Franco Held Her Hand During Terrifying Spring Breaker Scenes'

The Disney star said she was thankful for all James' support

Selena Gomez has admitted that James Franco was her knight in shining armour while she filmed difficult scenes for their upcoming teen movie Spring Breakers.

The Hollywood star revealed that one emotional scene - without specifying the nature - left her shaking with fear, but luckily the handsome Oz actor was nearby to gently guide her through, even holding her hand.

"I was shaking. We only did the scene three times, but I was shaking at the end," she told MTV News.com

"And I remember James just gave me a big hug and he was like, 'You did it. You were amazing.' I was so exhausted and the whole day was such a stressful day for me that it was great.”

James' kind words were exactly what the former Wizards of Wavely Place star needed as she went on to tell the entertainment network that just moments before director Harmony Korine terrifyingly revealed the highly charged scene would rely largely on improvisation.

"He goes ‘He's going to convince you to stay with the girls.' and I go, 'OK, well, what do I say? Am I sad? Am I mad? Am I scared?' And he goes, 'Sure.' And I was like, 'Well, wait a minute!'" Selena recalled.

“And that scene was absolutely intense and so real because I had no idea that that was going to happen, and James was so brilliant in it."

Selena recently spoke about her transition from Disney to Hollywood, saying that she felt ready for new challenges and was fully prepared for any public judgement over her her new adult role in the new flick.

Speaking on the sex scenes at the SXSW Festival this week, she said: "It’s kind of an awkward thing to mess with, the transition of doing what I used to do and wanting to do things like this so, I guess for me it’s a little awkward but I’m trying to do the best I can."
