Miley Cyrus' Unreleased 'Hannah Montana' Song Surfaces Online

It's no secret that Miley Cyrus is beyond done with her days spent as Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel. The singer even joked that HM was murdered and therefore it'd be impossible to ever do a reunion episode. Luckily for fans, one of Miley's unreleased songs from the show has recently surfaced.

The tune "Beach Weekend" is incredibly catchy and fun — everything we used to expect from Miley. Unfortunately, the song never made it onto the Hannah Montana album so it wasn't completely finished.

Listen to the track below and let us know what you think! Do you miss Miley's Hannah Montana music?

Miley Cyrus: Hannah Montana Was Murdered

Pop star Miley Cyrus, hosting Saturday Night Live, has revealed that fictional pop star Hannah Montana was murdered.

"We're not doing anything on Hannah Montana tonight but I can give you an update on what happened to her; she was murdered," she stated.

The 20-year-old former Disney star was once the face of family TV series Hannah Montana but her more recent public appearances, film/television roles and concert performances have been criticised as setting bad examples for young girls and other fans. Her recent sexually provocative photo shoot with Terry Richardson also attracted a wave of criticism.

Cyrus added that there won't be any more twerking, claiming it was "lame".

"There will be no twerking tonight. I used to think it was cool but now that all the white people are doing it, it seems kind of lame," Cyrus stated.

Thanks to Cyrus, the twerk has made it into the Oxford Dictionaries Online. The definition reads: "The twerk, v.: dance to popular music in a sexually provocative manner involving thrusting hip movements and a low, squatting stance."

The pop star, however, did not apologise for her performance and her skit centred on the idea that it was her performance which caused the ruination of America.

"I don't apologise for my VMAs performance. I got a lot of letters from angry mothers and turned-on fathers," she stated.

She also dressed up as Hillary Clinton, announcing her plan to run in 2016 by stripping off her jacket to reveal a bandage bra with the words 2016.

Cyrus also performed to Wrecking Ball and an acoustic version of We Can't Stop!.

Hannah Miley undecided on Rio medal bid

Scottish swimmer Hannah Miley has revealed she is undecided on whether to compete in the Rio Olympics in 2016.

Miley, 23, will assess her future after seeking to defend her Commonwealth gold medal in Glasgow 2014.

"I think having done a home Olympics and then to have a home Commonwealth Games is quite a nice way to round off a career," she said.

"I would like to look for Rio but I do need to reassess things after the Commonwealths."

However, although Aberdeenshire-based Miley could be tempted to aim for Brazil, she insists thoughts of what she will do with her life after swimming are high in her mind.

"I need to make sure that I've got my life in check," she said.

"Once my swimming is finished I've got to have that safety net of knowing that I can make that transition into the normal world.

"I still work with my family and it's a huge toll and sacrifice that they keep making and I need to keep checking that it is still OK.

"So it's not definite that I will retire but I do need to reassess my situation after two years.

"It's not 100% certain. I am keeping things short-sighted at the moment as I feel so far it seems to be working."

Miley, who won gold in the 400m individual medley at the World Short Course Championships in Istanbul in December , spoke of possible career paths once she retires from the sport.

"I want to get the best I can out of my swimming career but once I've finished then take my knowledge to do swim clinics," she said.

"I'd love to be able to pass on my knowledge to, and share my experience with, the future generation."

And Miley also revealed a career ambition far removed from life in the pool.

"When I was younger I had a huge desire to work with animals, like become a vet or a veterinary nurse," she said.

"It was a big decision for me not to pursue that because I chose sport. Now it's exciting to think I could pursue it. It's nice having those options.

"I recently got to go behind the scenes with the zoo-keepers at Edinburgh Zoo. It was one of the best days of my life and it just re-affirmed that desire for working with animals and how important it was to me."

Miley Cyrus Birthday: 7 Reasons We Miss The Days Of 'Hannah Montana'

As of today, Miley Cyrus is no longer a teenager. Believe it or not, our favorite "can't be tamed" singer and actress just turned the big 2-0 -- and we think we speak for everyone when we say: where did the time go? It seems like only yesterday that Miles led a double life as Hannah Montana, the character of your pre-teen TV watching days. (Admit it, you had a lunchbox or two with her face on it at some point.)

In honor of Miley's big day -- and being forced to come to terms with the fact that Miley Stewart, Lilly Truscott, and Oliver Oken are never, ever getting back together -- we have compiled a list of the many reasons why "Hannah Montana" was one of the most awesome shows on television. Period.

MILEY CYRUS: I WAS SO BORED OF HANNAH MONTANA

DOES MILEY REGRET PLAYING THE DISNEY CHARACTER?

As soon as Miley Cyrus bid farewell to Hannah Montana she exchanged the blonde wig for leather hot pants and the cheesy grin for a snarl. Grrrr.

Now it seems like Miley had been desperate for a long time to shed the Hannah Montana image, confessing to Prestige magazine that she was “bored” of the routine.

"I miss the family vibe, but I don't miss the routine at all. I was so bored doing the same thing every day,” she said.

“It's a lot easier, not being on a show, to live my life a little bit and do some of the other thing that I want to do. I don't have to be back at a certain time. You're not worrying about a cast schedule or what the producers are going to think."

She also hinted that might be regretting making the decision to take on such a life-changing role when she was so young.

Miley revealed that she is advising her younger sister against getting into acting and to wait until she gets older.

"My little sister, who's 11, wants to go into acting. I just say, 'Just wait, dude, because the way you're going to be when you're my age and the way you are right now are so different. Don't put yourself in a situation where people are going to think of you as only one thing. You're going to change a lot. It interferes with your growing up if you're not strong enough and you're not sure who you want to be.'

"I'm glad I'm not a character anymore and able to be me."

Do you find it difficult to see Miley as anyone other than Hannah Montana now? What do you think her career would be like if she had taken a different path into the industry?

Miley Cyrus reveals 'Newhart' twist for 'Hannah Montana' alternate ending

When "Hannah Montana Forever" aired its series finale earlier this year, it brought a conclusion to the series that made many of its longtime fans happy -- however, it also was not the only ending the show had created.

On the show's final-season DVD, there was an "alternate ending" that featured Miley "waking up" as if everything that happened over the course of the show was a dream. The Miley in this world was only six years old, and she taken care of by real-life parents Billy Ray and Tish. The show was obviously trying to send the message that in this world, Miley's dream about "Hannah" ended up telling her how she could become a star some day.

While this is interesting in a postmodern sort of way, it's ultimately a good thing that the Disney Channel never decided to use this (and it may have just been created out of humor). This sort of ending ultimately disenfranchises everything that happened before it, and it makes everything ultimately feel useless.

What do you think of the show even creating this ending?

Miley nixes dad on 'View'

Miley Cyrus has gotten her dad to back out of a scheduled appearance on "The View" -- to keep him from bad-mouthing "Hannah Montana," according to reports.

Last week, dad Billy Ray Cyrus complained in an interview with GQ magazine that he was no longer close to his daughter and that he regretted ever letting her appear in the Disney Channel series that made her famous.

"At first, Miley defended her dad, wanting to believe he had been tricked into saying bad things by the magazine," an insider told popeater.com, a Hollywood gossip site owned by AOL.

"But after she found out about his media trip to New York, no more excuses could be made.

"Only last week, Billy shot his mouth off in GQ, and now he planned to sit down with [Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg] and talk more crap about his family? No way would Miley or her team let that happen."

Billy Ray had been listed as a guest on today's show for several weeks. Then, yesterday, without mentioning Cyrus' cancellation, a press release from the morning talk show listed MSNBC anchors Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski as today's guests.

A spokesman for Billy Ray declined comment last night and said he had no plans to reschedule.

"The damn show destroyed my family," Billy Ray told the magazine of "Hannah."

"I'd erase it all in a second if I could."

Billy Ray Cyrus: 'Hannah Montana' show 'destroyed my family'

Billy Ray Cyrus says his daughter Miley Cyrus' massive success as Disney darling Hannah Montana led to the destruction of his personal life.

"I'll tell you right now — the damn show destroyed my family," Cyrus, who filed for divorce from wife Tish, tells the March issue of GQ magazine. "I should have been a better parent. I should have said, 'Enough is enough — it's getting dangerous and somebody's going to get hurt.' I should have, but I didn't. Honestly, I didn't know the ball was out of bounds until it was way up in the stands somewhere."

Cyrus also wants to make one thing clear: "For the record, I've never made a dime off of Miley."

He says he's worried about the path his daughter is taking, and worries she'll end up like other Hollywood tragedies. "Kurt (Cobain) was one of those guys. That's why I'm concerned about Miley. I think that his world was just spinning so fast and he had so many people around him that didn't help him. Like Anna Nicole Smith — you could see that train wreck coming. I was actually trying to reach out to Anna Nicole Smith, because I kept telling Tish and everybody around me, going, 'This is a disaster.' Michael Jackson — I was trying to reach out to Michael Jackson. I knew he had kids, and I was going to invite his kids down to a taping of Hannah — I just felt it would be good for Michael. I don't know why. I met Michael one time at the Grammys. He sat in front of me, in the front row, and a dime rolled out from under and hit my boot — this very boot I've got on — and I reached down and picked up this dime, and looked, he was going through his pockets, and I said, 'Are you looking for this?' 'Thank you.' And he took that dime and put it back in his pocket. I looked at my manager, I just said, 'Why did Michael Jackson have a dime?...' Nobody could tell me."

The issue, which features actor Channing Tatum on the cover, hits newsstands on Feb. 22.

Miley Cyrus Grows Beyond Hannah Montana

Fans will say goodbye to the Miley Cyrus alter ego Hannah Montana on Sunday night when the final episode of Hannah airs. With Hannah Montana almost behind her, Miley Cyrus recently revealed what's next for after the end of Hannah.

Miley Cyrus recently spoke with MTV about her upcoming film projects, which include LOL with Ashley Greene and Demi Moore, and So Undercover in which Cyrus amps up her street fighting game with a little gunplay.

Miley revealed that So Undercover is a departure from Hannah Montana since she's training to play an F.B.I. agent. "I've been actually doing all kinds of stuff ... I've been doing fighting, like learning how to box ... mostly street fighting, so knowing how to, like, if someone comes up from behind you, being able to defend yourself."

In addition to So Undercover, Miley Cyrus also has the thriller Wake on the horizon and is rumoured to be reprising her role in The Big Bang video, which is being turned into a feature film.

Miley Cyrus Post-'Hannah Montana': What's Next?

It's hard to believe that after Sunday's final episode of "Hannah Montana," Miley Cyrus will officially leave her alter ego behind. After four seasons, 98 episodes, a full-length movie and a 3-D concert film, Cyrus will be hanging up her blond wig for good.

As the show wraps up, it begs the question: What's next for the teen queen? Well, Cyrus, 18, seems to be putting recent tabloid troubles behind her and concentrating on her very busy movie career. She has several flicks in the works, including "LOL," in which she stars alongside Demi Moore and "Twilight" star Ashley Greene.

"Miley is a phenomenon — she's accomplished so much in the movie, TV and music worlds that it's not surprising how much attention was attracted during filming," co-star Greene said. "But we're both professional and understand that we're there to do our jobs. Work was our number-one priority, and everything else was background."

Miley's also currently filming the action-comedy flick "So Undercover," in which she plays an FBI agent.

"I've been actually doing all kinds of stuff. ... I've been doing fighting, like learning how to box ... mostly street fighting, so knowing how to, like, if someone comes up from behind you, being able to defend yourself," she said about her role. "I have a trainer and I have bruises everywhere from kicking the bags. ... And I've learned how to use guns, which was really scary." Filming for "So Undercover" is well under way, and she's been hanging out with co-star Kelly Osbourne. In addition to "So Undercover," Miley's set to work on the thriller "Wake," and is rumored to be working on getting her supernatural romance "The Big Bang" adapted from a music video to the big screen.

Movies aren't the only thing Miley is working on these days. While she's made it clear she wants to take a break from music to focus on her bustling film career, it's rumored that a Miley-Nick Jonas reunion "double disc duet album" is in the works.

Music producer Shakur Green, who has worked with Miley in the past, tweeted that he's working on tracks with Miley and former beau, Nick Jonas. "Can't release any additional information about the project," he shared. "Other than it's going to be one of the top albums of 2011."
