Jonas Brothers Invade Vegas in 'First Time' Video: Watch

The Jonas Brothers unveiled the new, Vegas-centric music video for "First Time" on Wednesday (July 17), matching the new single from their upcoming album with a playful visual. The clip premiered exclusively on Clear Channel radio station websites.

The video, which was shot during the band's rehearsals leading up to their performance at the 2013 Miss USA pageant in Las Vegas, features footage of the JoBros hanging out and being relatively wholesome as they soak in the sights of Sin City. Kevin Jonas' newly pregnant wife, Danielle, makes a brief cameo in the clip.

The "First Time" video follows the group's recent comeback track "Pom Poms," and after fans first caught glimpses of the visual on June 24, another preview followed yesterday. "First Time" was produced by Nick Jonas and was written by the trio alongside Paul Phamous.



The group's fifth studio album, and its first since 2009's "Lines, Vines and Trying Times," is due out later this year. The JoBros are currently touring the U.S. and Canada -- check out the dates below.

Jonas Brothers Say Their 'First Time' 'Felt Right'... As Next Single

It's officially here! The Jonas Brothers have dropped their new single, "First Time." The brothers let the song out into the world on Tuesday (June 25), giving fans the chance to hear what else they've been cooking up for their forthcoming album release.

The song, released on iTunes, is a departure from the up-tempo "Pom Poms," both in mood and tone. Whereas "Pom Poms" favored marching bands and a peppier, pop rock sound, "First Time" has a moodier, electronic vibe. The mid-tempo single has vocal loops and synths as the guys sing on the chorus, "Come on let it set you free/Right here, right now/ Where you supposed to be/ Make it feel like the first time."

This is hardly the first listen fans have gotten to the track. It leaked early this month and they've performed it live several times, including at their reunion show last October at NYC's Radio City Music Hall and an unplugged version at the O Music Awards last week.

The JoBros dished about the glitchy tune to MTV News the night of the O Music Awards, breaking down why they felt it was the perfect follow-up to "Pom Poms."

"I think it felt right. It felt like the kind of song that people that weren't maybe as familiar with our music and maybe wouldn't have called themselves fans would respond positively to because it's so different for us," Nick said. "Or, at least, I hope they will and it's one of my favorites, one of all of our favorites, I think from the minute we created it. So hopefully it's a positive reaction and it goes over great live. It's a big party when we play that song."

The guys will soon take that party out on the road. They will kick off their summer tour on July 10 in Chicago with Karmin serving as their opening act.

Jonas Brothers New Album Update: More Songs Announced!

We've got the latest on the Jonas Brothers' new album--yes, we know it's coming "soon," but what can fans expect?

In a new interview with Music Choice, Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas talk quite a lot about their hotly anticipated album, which is now done!

While we sit waiting for "soon" to arrive (Nick said it'll come at the beginning of fall), here's what the guys had to say about their more mature sounding new album...

Nick explained, "I think that the break was definitely necessary...taking time to grow and learn about ourselves and the world we live in and being able to talk about that in our music...having the freedom to talk about it was necessary."


He added, "Now we have a record we're really proud of with some real depth with what we're talking about and just the sound overall."

As for the songs that made the album cut, here's some disappointing news: tunes "Kerosene," "Buena Vida" and "Meet You In Paris" will not be on the new album.

Nick explained, however, that the songs were "an important part of the journey" to the new album.

Joining "Pom Poms," "First Time" and "Neon," are the songs "Sandbox" and "The World."

Nick explains "Sandbox" is one of his favorite songs on the new album, and it's "about a lot of things, it's mostly about the concept is 'I need to search for my heart, I lost in the sandbox.'"

"The World," they explained, is "a little political."

That definitely sounds like new territory for the Jonas Brothers!

Jonas Brothers on Miss Utah's Viral Stumble: 'We Felt Her Pain'

Miss USA pageant co-host Nick Jonas stood feet away from Miss Utah when she verbally stumbled during the competition's nerve-racking interview segment on Sunday. The flub went viral, essentially overshadowing the winner's crowning moment.

The Jonas Brothers can relate — they've had their share of unfavorable moments make waves online. Joe Jonas cites the time when he fell on broken glass at the American Music Awards.

"We felt her pain," Joe told Mashable after performing at the O Music Awards (see photos below) on Wednesday night. "Everyone has accidents like that and we felt for Miss Utah because it was tough and it didn't obviously come out the way she hoped." But the Jonases know that just as quickly as bad news can spread, so too can the positive stuff, particularly thanks to their rabid online fans known as the Jonatics.

"They can be crazy at times and they can also come in handy," Joe said, just minutes after winning the fan-voted Best Artist Instagram category over Mariah Carey, Bon Iver and other celebrities at the O Music Awards.

evin Jonas reiterated the band's love for their fans, who are nominated for Best Fan Army.

"When we first started in '04 or '05 that's when social media started to become a way to release music and connect with fans — and our fans were kind of at the forefront of that," Kevin said. "They've been amazing in the past seven years that we've been doing this. They've been promoting us and being a family online."

Nick emphasized the impact and evolution of social media in helping the band succeed.

"It's crazy just to get that instant reaction for anything we do," Nick said. "We come off stage at a show and look at our Twitters to see what people thought.

"Think back 10 years ago and you definitely could not have done that. Even five or six years ago, Twitter wasn't as popular as it is now."

The Jonases opened the awards show inside the old Total Request Live studio in Times Square with a relaxed version of "Pom Poms." They also performed "Lovebug," dedicating to the in-house goat Pearl, and their new single "First Time."

Jonas Brothers Talk Album Release Date, Tour Details in Live Chat Video

Did you watch the Jonas Brothers live chat last night?

They talked about their new album, touring, and answered fan questions. Oh, and they played "Would You Rather" too.

Nick said he was "extremely excited" about the live chat--couldn't you tell?

As for the album, well it continues to be a waiting game on the release date, as the guys would only say it's "coming out soon."

They all know when, but are keeping fans in the dark. Teases.

Will there be any duets on the new album? Nick said "possibly."

They asked what fans thought of the preview for "Neon," with Nick saying, "Wait til you hear the rest of the song."

In terms of their summer tour, they're excited about Karmin opening for them and are already thinking about the set list, Nick said..

They said there will be "a lot of new songs" during the tour, joking, "at last 3,000!"

(Side note: Nick is so adorable, in the most subtle way, isn't he?)

The Jonas Brothers also finished shooting their "First Time" music video in Las Vegas, which they did with their friends. Should be a fun one.

When asked to describe their new album, they shared, it's "orange, with a hint of yellow."

Fine. Don't tell us anything.

Here's one little nugget though--when asked what the craziest song on the album is, they said, "What Do I Mean to You."

The Jonas Brothers' live chat kicks off today, Monday, June 17, at 6:00 p.m. PT/ 9:00 p.m. ET.

Kevin, Nick and Joe have chosen "First Time" as the second single from their highly anticipated new album, so what will the Jonas Brothers share during their live chat?

Their website promises they'll "unveil their single release date along with other exciting news."

News about their album release date, perhaps?

How about the album title? Pretty please?

"First Time" leaked online last week and even spent a short amount of time (mistakenly) on iTunes.

Some lucky fans were able to download it, but others will have to wait until it drops on June 25.

iTunes has since removed the song after it was available for 12 hours.

The Jonas Brothers performed "First Time," Pom Poms" and "Neon" at the Miss USA pageant last night, plus revealed a preview of their new tune, "Neon."

The Jonas Brothers Perform 3 Songs At 2013 Miss USA Competition

The Jonas Brothers were back in performing action June 16 at the 2013 Miss USA Competition. While Nick juggled hosting duties, the brothers rocked out onstage with new songs!

The Jonas Brothers performed new songs off their upcoming album at the 2013 Miss USA Competition on June 16 at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. With their fifth album world tour on the horizon, this was the perfect opportunity to get everyone hyped up for the return of the JoBros — right in the middle of the swimsuit competition!

The JoBros are back! After giving us a sample of what to expect from their album with “Pom Poms” and “First Time”, Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas gave us what we wanted tonight: more music!

Along with the aforementioned singles, the brothers also performed a new song, “Neon” at the June 16 pageant. Their medley showed just how much variety they’re going to offer on the new album. They’ve grown-up so much since their “Year 3,000″ days!

They had all the ladies swooning over their new songs, and we can’t to hear the full album!

In addition to performing, the youngest of the popular boy band, Nick, also served as co-host with Giuliana Rancic! Nick made his busy schedule throughout the night look like easy.

At just 20 years old, he’s proved he can do it all: music, hosting and Broadway!

One thing’s for sure: We’re so glad the JoBros are back. It’s been too long without a good dose of music from the cutest brother band ever.

Jonas Brothers Hype Up New Single 'First Time' For June 25

Ready to put your pom poms down for some new Jonas Brothers tunes? Well, the group's new single, "First Time," is on its way June 25, the JoBros confirmed.

The track leaked earlier this week and the guys addressed the unauthorized first listen on Thursday. "Crazy the #firsttime was on iTunes early but for everyone that didn't get it make sure to grab it on the 25th!!" Kevin wrote, with Joe tweeting, "Well looks like our next single first time was put on iTunes for 12 hours [on Wednesday]. . . ... For those of you who are quick and downloaded it.. Congrats hope you like it. For the rest of you.. JUNE 25th!!!"

Whereas the band opted for the up-tempo "Pom Poms" to set the tone for their 2013 album release, the trio will drop the less peppy "First Time" as the next cut off the still-untitled follow-up to 2010's Vines Lines and Trying Times. The brothers will still hold a live chat on Monday, June 17 at 7 p.m. ET to discuss it.

They played the mid-tempo cut, full of synthy bleeps and vocal loops, live during their reunion show at New York's Radio City last October. And perhaps fans will get another chance to hear it this weekend. The guys are slated to perform at the Miss USA pageant (airing Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on NBC), where Nick will be co-hosting with E! News host Giuliana Rancic.

Weeks after they drop "First Time," the guys will kick off their summer tour on July 10 in Chicago. This week they announced they will be joined by Karmin as their opening act.
