Farrah Abraham seemed to be pretty proud of her sex tape, doing appearances to promote it (and herself) and even boasting about how successful it was.
In a new interview, though, Farrah seems to have changed her tune about her sex tape, which she is rumored to have commissioned herself.
"It made it hard to have friends and a private life and to trust family, who I feel use me for money," Farrah told In Touch weekly. "If I went back in time, I would not have done it. The sex tape ruined my life."
Farrah has definitely had a hot and cold relationship with her family, but that seemed to be the case even before the sex tape, so we're not sure how much might have really changed on that front.
"Knowing my sex tape was out there for everyone in the world to see ... was overwhelming," she claims. "I wanted to hide my face and not go out or pick up my phone."
Strangely enough, the "Backdoor Teen Mom" seemed to do exactly the opposite of that, embarking on a nationwide strip club tour, which highlighted her sex tape star status, and doing a full-on media blitz with interviews and photo ops galore.
Essentially, it seems like the sex tape was exactly the career boost that Farrah was looking for and she appears to be all-too-thrilled to ride the wave, so this quote could just be another PR move on her part.
Speaking of which, Farrah is currently appearing on Couples Therapy and the guy she was supposedly "dating has recently come forward and said that they faked their relationship so she could get on the show.
