Doechii will receive the Woman of the Year Award at Billboard’s 2025 Women in Music Event.
The honor comes a month after the 26-year-old rapper took home a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album for her mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal.
“After receiving the Billboard Women in Music Rising Star Award in 2023, Doechii has quickly gained recognition in the music industry for her bold creativity and impressive talent,” editorial director of Billboard Hannah Karp said in a statement.

“With her genre-blending sound, Doechii is redefining what it means to be a trailblazer in the music industry. We are honored to celebrate Doechii and cheer on her continued success,” she added.
Previous winners of the award have been Karol G, SZA, Olivia Rodrigo, Cardi B, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift. Doechii is the second rapper to win the award.
The 2025 Billboard Women in Music event will take place on Saturday, March 29.
