The Wicked movie is not scheduled to hit theaters until 2024, but it’s already one of the most highly anticipated films of the next two years!
The long-awaited film adaptation of the beloved Broadway musical is being directed by Jon M. Chu and it will be split into two parts. The first part will be released on December 25, 2024 and the second part will hit theaters on December 25, 2025.
Two actors have been confirmed for the movie so far and the rest of the cast has not yet been announced, but there are plenty of rumors.
Until Wicked is in theaters, you can catch the show on Broadway, on tour across North America, on the West End in London, and in many other cities. A big music star recently announced she’s auditioning to play Elphaba on Broadway!
