Kristin Chenoweth won’t be playing Glinda in the Wicked movie, but she’s definitely willing to make a cameo appearance in the upcoming film adaptation of the Broadway musical!
The Tony-winning actress talked about the upcoming movie during her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday (November 22) in New York City.
Kristin was asked about her thoughts on Ariana Grande landing the role and she also talked about her genius idea for how she and Idina Menzel can appear in the film.

“I couldn’t be happier. I’ve known her since she was 10,” Kristin said about Ariana landing the role. She also shared the story of when the Grammy winner came to see her in Wicked as a kid.
Kristin added, “And now she’s playing [Glinda]. I’m so happy.”
When asked about rumors that she’ll make a cameo in the movie, Kristin hilariously said, “Well, I haven’t thought about it, but here’s what I think should happen.”
Kristin wants to reenact the Wicked poster, which shows Glinda whispering into Elphaba’s ear. She said, “I just thought it would be cool if the camera panned by and Idina and I were just there and you saw me [whispering in her ear].”
