Ah, one melancholy tweet and the goss started spreading like wildfire, as Liam recently tweeted: "I love how music is always there for you when you need it most x."
That doesn't exactly scream breakup though, does it?
Then someone tweeted about Sophia deleting every picture of Liam from her social media accounts, even though it was likely not legit her Instagram or Facebook accounts. See how these things escalate?
A source told Irish Mirror that the breakup buzz is true, saying, "Liam and Sophia have split up. Liam is incredibly sad, but is going to keep busy. He really hopes that everybody will respect both his and Sophia's privacy and stop speculating."
The Sun is taking the rumor and running with it too, with a source squealing: "They have split. Liam is heartbroken."
We're so hoping Sophiam is still a thing...the best advice with rumors, really, is this:
Okay I'm not believing anything about Liam and Sophia until they confirm it
