Jennette McCurdy on iCarly Reunion, Reaction to Sam & Cat Ending

During the interview, Jennette touched on making the jump from kids' television to more mature career choices and weighed in on her thoughts, saying, "I hope that I'm growing up and that my career choices will underline that."

While Between is a really dark departure from iCarly and Sam & Cat, Jennette said she hopes to return to comedy and would love to work with smart, funny women like Amy Schumer, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey and Mindy Kaling.

Jennette shared that she and iCarly co-star Miranda Cosgrove are still best friends, giving an example of a recent sleepover they had. She also said that the entire iCarly cast got together recently for sushi.

As for her thoughts on Sam & Cat ending, Jennette said she wasn't upset because she and Ariana Grande signed on for 40 episodes and made it to 36. Plus, she added, "I was personally ready for it to be done...my mother had just passed away and I was going through some personal struggles I really needed to process...I was excited about getting an opportunity to have a break from the business for a couple of months."

The burning question, however, was whether or not fans can expect an iCarly reunion. While Jennette didn't address a return of the TV series exactly, she and her former castmates did have an interesting idea that would reunite them all. Jennette revealed: "We had a group text going around like two weeks ago, just joking that we should all do a reality show where we all live together."

Oh yeah, we would totally watch it.
