Jennette McCurdy Explains Ariana Grande Feud: "We Butted Heads"

Jennette McCurdy Ariana Grande feud explained deniedJennette Mccurdy is finally addressing the feud between her and former Sam & Cat co-star Ariana Grande. It looks like the dust has finally settled between these two and Jennette is moving on.

She recently told E! News : "I just feel that, you know Ariana and I were and are extremely close and very like-minded in a lot of different ways and then, sorta as the show dissolved, everybody wanted to find some sort of hidden meaning in our relationship."

Jennette added: "Some like drama and I think we butted heads at times but in a very sisterly way. She knows me so well and I know her so well that I think it was unfortunate that things kind of got misconstrued."

She explained the "ups and downs" of working with other people for long hours, adding, "But you bond so much and you're so close that you can't go through that experience and...I can't imagine a world where you would not come out extreme friends. I mean I have bonds with both Miranda [Cosgrove] and Ariana that are impenetrable."

The feud rumors started rolling when Jennette failed to attend the Kids' Choice Awards and Sam & Cat was canceled. Jennette also seemed to slam Ariana in a rant about a former bad friend and had an eerily familiar Ariana-type character on her web series, appearing to diss her co-star. We think there's probably more behind-the-scenes drama here than Jennette is letting on about.
