That's what happened to Alex, a cute Target employee, who suddenly became an internet sensation after someone posted a photo of him at work to that went viral.
Inexplicably, #AlexFromTarget started trending worldwide on Twitter and the memes began rolling in.
The Target employee was caught off guard when he first realized he was trending and had more than 500,000 new followers.
Soon enough, he was doing TV interviews and getting shoutouts from celebrities like Ariana Grande and Ellen DeGeneres.
Target even gave Alex some love on social media too, Tweeting this:
We think maybe he deserves a raise already?!
