There's been a lot of buzz about Ariana Grande 's "diva" behavior lately, with the most recent report coming yesterday about Ariana having a fit during a photo shoot and canceling it after giving a list of demands . She also reportedly refused to answer certain interview questions.
In a new radio interview, Ariana is setting the record straight, as she sat down with The Edge 96.1's Mike E and Emma to talk about all the diva rumors floating. She explained that the rumors are "totally untrue and annoying," admitting "it does suck" to have those things said about her.
As for the buzz about her attitude on the photo shoot specifically, she explained, "It was just a photographer or something who got mad at me because I left to change my outfit mid photo shoot because I didn't like my top. I was like, 'Oh, I'll be right back!' and then I came back and he had left.' I was like, 'Oh, s**t!' And then he came out with something that said all these ridiculous untrue things about me. "
Ariana added, "I'm just like, 'That's not real. That's nonsense!' My fans know who I am, my family knows who I am, my friends know who I am, and that's all that matters."
She also acknowledged that this kind of gossip comes with the territory, noting, "No matter what you do, no matter what your profession is, no matter how old you are, everybody deals with haters...They're also people who don't necessarily know you or understand you. They're also judging an inaccurate depiction of you."
Even Ariana's manager, Scooter Braun, was quick to set the record straight, tweeting: "@ArianaGrande is kind, caring, and more than anything she is a great human being. Some people make up rumors for a living...so saying things about Ari comes with her now being a big star. But saying she isn't a good person that ain't gonna fly. Just yesterday she did an impromptu meet and greet for all her fans that almost got her kicked out of her hotel after a 14 hour work day. Why? Because she knows u care so she does too. There is Zero truth to anything different. Enough is enough."
