Taylor Swift and Ex-Boyfriend John Mayer Cross Paths at Chateau Marmont?

Can you believe Taylor Swift and an ex-boyfriend crossed paths at the same restaurant the other night? Turns out Taylor and John Mayer were both at Los Angeles' Chateau Marmont, but don't go jumping to conclusions that the two are back together because that rumor was shot down immediately by her rep.



Keep in mind they weren't actually together (though they arrived separately at the exact same time) and later left the hotel at separate times.



Taylor's rep was on the case to bust up any gossip before it gained momentum, telling E! News, "Taylor was with Lily Aldridge and never saw Mr. Mayer at Chateau Marmont."



Taylor famously wrote the song "Dear John" about her relationship with John, which he later said in a 2012 Rolling Stone interview was "cheap songwriting, adding, "It's abusing your talent to rub your hands together and go, 'Wait 'til he gets a load of this!' That's bulls**t...It really humiliated me at a time when I'd already been dressed down. I mean, how would you feel it, at the lowest you've ever been, someone kicked you even lower?"



He seemed to retaliate with the song "Paper Doll" the following year. Payback is a b**ch.
