According to new reports, the twerker wants desperately to snag the part of Dolly for an upcoming movie. She's apparently worried that Scarlett Johansson will get the job.
''Miley is bugging Dolly for the role," a source revealed to Star magazine. Dolly refuses to play favorites though, even though Miley has been bombarding her with audition tapes.
''This movie is her legacy, and she told Miley she doesn't have the acting chops to pull it off," the insider added. ''Dolly is holding out, though, and isn't 100 percent on Scarlett either. She'd consider Kristin Chenoweth or even Jessica Simpson.''
Honestly, we think Miley would be the best person for the flick. Have you ever heard the girl sing Dolly's hit song "Jolene"?
