While no one is totally sure what's going on with the state of Beyonce and Jay-Z 's union, here's one thing you can bank on: Beyonce is performing at the MTV Video Music Awards and she'll be a winner no matter what.
Sure, the "Single Ladies" singer is up for 8 awards for her fifth self-released album, the most of anyone at the entire show, but now she's guaranteed to go home with at least one Moonman.
Queen Bey is set to score the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award on Aug. 24 at the Forum and she'll also be performing during the show.
Her VMA performances in the past have always been memorable...in fact, she announced her pregnancy when she took the stage at the awards in 2011. After belting out "Love on Top," she unbuttoned her jacket and rubbed her belly, confirming the rumors she was expecting a child with Jay.
Beyonce joins the already announced lineup of VMA performers that include Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and 5 Seconds of Summer.
