We don't know about you, but Selena Gomez is 22 today, and her BFF Taylor Swift made sure to point that out. Putting those beefing rumors to rest, T-Swift gave Sel a cute birthday shoutout on her big day.
Taylor posted a selfie on Instagram on Tuesday, July 22, as she held a large 'S' medallion in front of her face with a message to Selena. "Usually this S represents "Swift" but today I'm wearing it because SELENA IS 22!!!!" she captioned the pic. In typical Tay style, the birthday wish made us smile. We're sure Sel did the same.
It was also a way for her to tell everyone that she's still good friends with Selena. There have been rumors that Selena's back-and-forth relationship with Justin Bieber turns Taylor off, and makes her distance herself from Sel. Even if that's true, it's cool to see Taylor still wish Selena a happy birthday.
We're sure Taylor wishes she could be celebrating with Sel. She was pre-birthday partying it up Monday with their mutual friend Cara DeLevingne in Saint Tropez.
