Ariana Grande has been super busy lately, but now she's taking a little time off and putting family first. Ariana has been giving updates on Twitter and Instagram about her ill grandfather, and it looks like she's canceled her UK tour to spend more time with him.
She posted a message to her fans on Twitter, explaining: "Want to say thank u to my UK loves for my first no 1 over there with problem! I so wish I could be there to celebrate. I'm sorry I had to cancel my trip especially given the circumstances. I love you so much."
She added: "was too much to fit in one tweet! thank u so much UK, just heard the news today.... love u more than words...adding on to that... i'll try my hardest to reschedule my trip out there! can't thank u enough for ur understanding during this time. love u"
On July 4 she tweeted: "love u grandps i need u please pull thru" and has been sharing pics of her family by his side in the hospital. Ariana's news resulted in the Twitter hashtag #PrayforGrandpaGrande, as fans showed their support for the singer and her grandfather. On July 3rd, she answered a fan about his condition, writing: "the update is his cancer is at bay but the treatment (chemo + radiation) really took a toll on him...he's havin a lil trouble"
We hope he makes a speedy recovery and totally understand why she would want to be with him right now.
