April Fools! Poor Ariana Grande fell victim to her first nude photo scandal on March 31 — but we’re happy to report that it was all a hoax! Just as we suspected, the 20-year-old singer and star of Nickelodean’s Sam & Cat is far too smart to take her clothes off on camera. What a relief!
The topic #ArianasNudesLeaked started trending on Twitter on March 31, with multiple fans linking to Photoshopped pics of an allegedly naked Ariana at the beach. Many of the tweets actually explained that the photos were part of an elaborate April Fools’ Day gag — which kind of defeats the purpose, no? Apparently these jokesters are not very funny OR smart.
Ariana has yet to respond to the fake nude photo leak but she gets the last laugh in our book by always keeping it classy!
At the 2014 Kids Choice Awards on March 29, Ariana proved that there are other ways than taking off your clothes to show that you’re maturing. The singer-actress traded in her trademark tresses for a chicer, more sophisticated hairstyle and she looked positively stunning when she hit the orange carpet.
We love her new look — and we love that she is blossoming into a beautiful young woman while still being a responsible role model to all of her young fans!
