Ne-Yo on Justin Bieber: ‘He’s Going To Be Fine’

What's better than pancakes and cocktails at midnight on the eve of the biggest night in music? Celebuzz was at Hollywood hot spot, Lure Nightclub, on Saturday (January 25, 2014) where R&B crooner, Ne-Yo, hosted the annual Malibu Red Midnight Brunch Grammy party.
Before indulging in the sweets (and we certainly indulged!), we caught up with Ne-Yo to chat about the one person that we can't get enough of. That would be the drag racing and egg-throwing pop star, Justin Bieber.

Back in the day, long before the Biebs was racking up charges on both coasts, Ne-Yo had the opportunity to sign him, but decided not to. It's a lost opportunity that the singer says he still regrets, even despite Bieber's recent troubles.

"I feel like people are giving him a hard time because of the 'teen icon' stamp that you get put on your back because teenage girls scream your name," Ne-Yo told Celebuzz. "At the end of the day, he's a 19 year old kid with the world placed at his feet and he's having some trouble adjusting. Once he gets some guidance in front of him or behind him, he's going to be fine."
