Despite being nervous for the arrival of their baby girl, Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle are so excited to have their first child together. In fact, the “Married to Jonas” couple have big plans for this weekend’s Super Bowl 2014 as they prepare for their daughter’s arrival.
Rather than heading to East Rutherford, New Jersey for the Broncos vs. Seahawks game, Jonas might be spending time at the hospital and is offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity during the big game, a chance to rent out his house!
Jonas and his wife are currently moving to a bigger place in anticipation of their new baby arriving and now that their house is vacant, they decided to make some cash out of it.
The “Married to Jonas” couple listed their house in Denville, NJ on Airbnb, available Jan. 28 through Feb. 9 for $20,000 a night. The renter will have access to six bedrooms and a home theater room, among other highlights such as four tickets to the Super Bowl.
“This year, I’m on baby watch so there’s no way I’m going to the Super Bowl,” said Jonas to OK! Magazine. “This was an opportunity for someone to use my house in a fun manner. I’m about to go into my own Super Bowl. I might be watching it in the delivery room!”
The couple revealed that they might even stock the fridge with whatever the renter wants.
Jonas stated, “A portion [of the money] will go to our charity Change For The Children, which helps underprivileged children. And then we are gearing up for the baby, so we’ve got diapers to buy! [laughs]”
“Hotels down the street from me are, like, $5,000 a night for a suite,” said Jonas explaining why he decided to give his house for rent. “It’s insane, the prices people charge for hotel rooms, but this is an entire house.”
The Jonas couple have been preparing as much as possible for the birth of their daughter and it looks like they have been doing a lot of shopping. Danielle posted an Instagram picture of all the baby clothes that her husband bought for their child since the due date is getting closer.
Jonas bought his daughter a variety of pink outfits, hats and onesies with hearts and flowers on them.
The “Married to Jonas” couple still have a lot more preparing to do before the baby arrives. Danielle admitted to Us Weekly that she is “getting nervous” because she still has to finish decorating the nursery after moving into the new home.
The couple have chosen a name for their daughter and even talked about how “cute” it is, however, they want to keep it a secret for now.
“We’re not telling anyone the name now, but we have a name,” said Jonas. “[The] middle name as a lot of meaning, but her first name is ... different enough but not totally out there. It’s cute,” said Danielle.
While Danielle is already nine months pregnant, Jonas revealed that him and his wife are expecting their baby to be born on Feb. 6, 2014.
