In a new interview with the New York Times, Miley Cyrus slammed Joe Jonas' claims that she and Demi Lovato got him to smoke weed...and she also had something to say about Ariana Grande.
Miley spoke about celebs who haven't wanted to be associated with the controversial star, but she once suggested Ariana get a pic with Miley to appear "less sweet."
Well, that's one way to look a little edgier, we suppose.
Miley commented in the interview: "I don't have a bunch of celeb friends, because I feel like some of them are a little scared of the association. This is terrible. I was backstage with Ariana Grande. I'm like, 'Walk out with me right now and get this picture, and this will be the best thing that happens to you, because just you associating with me makes you a little less sweet.'"
Interesting perspective, we suppose.
Miley even commented on Ariana "wearing the shorter things" to appear a little more edgy, but with her current contract with Nickelodeon, she doesn't expect Ariana to go over-the-top sexy with her image.
Miley explained, "She comes in, and she goes, 'This made me feel like you.' And I'm like, 'That was like my sixth grade prom dress.' She's, I think, still on Nickelodeon. She has people that she has to kind of respect."
