Demi Lovato took to Twitter to clear up things after "Demi Lavender" started trending.
There was an accusation that involved Demi dissing Miley (and Ariana Grande)--and a bit of an autocorrect issue as well.
Details of a conversation that pointed to Demi calling Miley a "homeless rat" started making the rounds online, sparking buzz that Demi was doing a bit of trash talking.
Turns out the play-by-play account of Demi's slam on Miley had a glaring problem (besides, obviously, facts)--"Lovato" autocorrected to "Lavender."
The retelling begins: "So I met demi in a Miami airport while on a plane going to cancun. I didn't know who she was at first because she had blue hair and my sister told me that that was demi lavender."
Then this person (guy or girl, we don't know) said he/she asked Demi about Miley's assistant "shading her" and Demi allegedly said Miley "lives off the attention so basically she was saying that Miley was the one that got her addicted and not to believe anything the homeless rat said."
Demi took to Twitter to have a laugh and shoot the whole thing down (once she figured out what the Demi Lavender trend was about), writing: "I wish I was on my way to Cancun.. But not as much as I wish my last name was lavender..."
